In 2023, as BooShoo Productions, Jennifer and Jacqueline wrote and produced their first short film, Oh the Humanity!, directed by Erik Rangel of In the Mind Films (Colorado).
JENNIFER BOUANI
Jennifer lives in Denver, CO, where she writes character-driven screenplays (when she’s not skiing or hiking). She has written several finalists feature film and TV pilot scripts for mature audiences.
Her most recent film project is an original limited-series suspense drama called All the King’s Men, a narrative based off of the extraordinary true story of Dr. Robert Oxnam. She and writing partner Jacqueline Schumann recently completed the pilot script.
Jennifer started her career in Atlanta, GA in digital technology, but began writing professionally in 2005 when she wrote the first of her award-winning children’s books, Future Business Leaders’ Series,™ adventure stories for tweens that teach entrepreneurship. Having grown up in the Deep South, lived a decade on a vineyard in Silicon Valley, and now diving into the Colorado / Rocky Mountains outdoor culture, she writes with a unique, broad perspective that spans the continent but touches the heart.

JACQUELINE SCHUMANN
“Jax” is a Silicon Valley-based technology content development manager who writes about life-changing tech. Her topics of interest run the gamut from philosophy to augmented reality to cognitive behavioral therapy to mixed martial arts. With over 25 years of experience working in the tech industry, Jax is uniquely suited to tell the stories of blazing-the-way women.
Jax lives in San Jose with her teenage daughter and has written several feature film and TV pilot scripts.
